Introducing the St Croix Line of Corn Burning Products; Featuring The St Croix SURE FIRE Technology!

A Line of Corn Stoves that work and are rapidly becoming the New Champion's in the industry!

Why should you have to put up with products that don't deliver what is promised?
What was needed in the Corn Stove industry  was a new design that actually burns the corn thoroughly. With incomplete burning you get an over abundance of black sooty ash and not as much heat. This produces large amounts of coal black ash which can easily build up to be a problem, plugging up the stove, choking the combustion air, filling the exhaust pipe, and covering the side of your house with black soot. This dirty burning requires a need for a total shutdown cleaning as much as twice a week.

Several years ago the Research and Development Department at Even Temp Inc. were told, "Fix what's wrong with corn stoves." They took three years and produced, "The Lancaster." This corn stove is the front runner in an exciting line of Corn Stoves that work.

SURE FIRE Technology The St Croix Secret: why they work.
What makes us stand out in the crowd? High Temperature Burning! This is accomplished    with a unique pressurized vacuum sealed air   flow design which enables higher burning temperatures, increases heat output, decreases ash buildup, and allows the Corn Stove to burn more reliably. This pressurized system delivers more air with more oxygen to the fire chamber for a hotter more efficient fire. Also the St Croix Corn Stove technology does not stir the fire in the firebox to attempt to remove ash. Stirring lowers the burn temperature creating inefficient burning and the need for a burn enhancer to raise the temperature back up (oyster shells or special pellet additives)

The St Croix method needs no additives or burn enhancers as we burn on top of the buildup or clinker. This allows the clinker to become your friend instead of your enemy. The clinker becomes a red hot, heat increasing, high temperature source, allowing a more complete combustion which gets more heat out of each kernel and less ash to clean out of the stove. This complete combustion burns the corn down to the minerals, which are white. This eliminates the need to continuously shut down the stove for cleanout. In a week of burning, instead of 2-3 gallons of black sooty ash with high carbon content as high as 75%, you get about 4-5 little bricks that are mostly white with carbon content most times under 5%! You can usually fit them in a metal container smaller than the size of an ice cream pail.

The clinker or mineral buildup is removed simply by moving two levers about every other day. The unique Continuous Fire Lever System allows you to lose the buildup but keep the fire. The Control Board is Digital with more features than an analog board.

The proof of efficiency is in the ash, our ash is mostly white, while the ash of incomplete combustion is mostly black!

THE AUBURN

The Best Working most complete Corn Stove Line in America
Back a few years ago the mini corn stove, The Lancaster was such a success that the same stove was put inside a bigger shell called the Auburn. The Auburn features a 90 LB hopper and a bigger ash pan, and was an instant hit in the Corn Stove market. It is being called "The New Champion." No other corn stove is as popular.

Now Even Temp is about to do it again with the release of "The Greenfield." It is the first cast iron corn stove on the market.

Beauty and elegance along with the SURE FIRE Technology of the St Croix Corn Stoves, The Greenfield is sure to please!

Benefits of the New SURE FIRE Technology!
With higher burn temperatures it allows improvements that has customers talking about The St Croix Corn Stove burning in a positive way unheard of in the industry. They are telling their friends and neighbors the St Croix corn stove is the one to get. Customers are appreciating the ability of the St Croix Corn Stove to burn corn with 15% moisture.

This corn stove is more reliable, others that burn black are notorious for flame outs. They just quit and go out from a fragile fire. They need extra dry corn at 11-12% which is hard to find and more expensive. The SURE FIRE Corn Stoves are being called troopers because they go and go and go without big problems. The St Croix Corn Stove augers the corn at an incline instead of horizontal and then allows the corn to fall down a ramp into the fire. The auger housing is angled instead of spherical which allows The St Croix Corn Stove to burn corn that is not perfectly clean. Corn can have bits of cob and stalk called fines. Corn with a lot of fines is called dirty corn and has to be screened in most stoves. I rarely almost never have to screen my corn for the St Croix Corn Stoves.  Corn has many variables, moisture, test weight, starch and sugar content, different makeup, some corn has wax in it. I have taken corn out of other brand corn stoves that wouldn't burn and seen it burn beautifully in the St Croix Corn Stoves even on low! Because of the high temperature SURE FIRE Technology the St Croix Corn Stoves run on all settings low and high, one through five! This is enough heat for a room on low and enough heat for a house (up to 1600 sq. ft.) on high.
